We live in a time of infinite creative opportunities. You can capture, convey, create anything, anywhere. The tools of the trade, the travel, all the little details - have been democratized rapidly. Unlike the limitations and regulations. For aerial photography this is especially true as in the past years it has become ridiculously cheap to purchase, blatantly simple to operate safely. Yet their usage is over-regulated around the globe to the point that a legal use case reduces it to a backyard toy, no more. This project, called Illegal Portraits is an effort to show what we are missing out on if the laws surrounding drones remain unchanged or become even more strict.
